Jose Mourinho Explains Why He Won't Complain About Paul Pogba's Injury

Jose Mourinho has been a pretty content guy for most of this season but when he lost Paul Pogba to injury you feared he'd have something to say.
However the Manchester United boss sounds weirdly chilled about the whole thing.

So far this season Jose Mourinho has only been in the headlines for two things really, his side playing really well and being second to Manchester City only one goal difference and his sending off at Southampton.

The issue at the Saints was in fact so small that he was let off without further punishment, something that wouldn't have been the case if Mourinho had actually done anything wrong considering his previous record.

United have been happily going about their business and have only once dropped points all season, in the draw to Stoke, but that all could have been derailed when Paul Pogba picked up what has been described, by Jose, as a 'long term' injury.

But instead of it being an issue the Red Devils have continued their great form by putting four past both CSKA Moscow and Crystal Palace and talking after Palace victory Mourinho explained why he'd never complain about Pogba's injury:
"We never miss the players that are injured. That is our way of thinking. They are injured, we don't think about them. It is an opportunity and a moment for others to step up and get the chance, so I think that is good.

"When we moan all the time about injuries it looks like we don't trust the other people and we have to."

It's a very noble reason for Mourinho to not want to complain about injuries, basically protecting the other players that play in midfield, and it seems to have worked with Marouane Fellaini in excellent form.

However it's not like the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan manager hasn't complained about injuries in the past and usually lays the blame for them on door step of footballing authorities and the schedule.

Back in February Jose complained about the scheduling matches in the face of injuries to Michael Carrick and Henrikh Mkhitaryan saying, "Because in this moment nobody knows where we play, nobody knows where the first and second matches are.

"...I think once more the interests, they go in front of the clubs and English football's interests, and nobody cares about it. But this is what I have."

But at least at the moment he's happy enough not to complain
